Used Software
The repository is built on the open-source software InvenioRDM, developed by CERN. The CESNET Association creates the CESNET Invenio version, which is significantly modified for the needs of the Czech environment (user administration, workflow settings, use of multiple different DOI prefixes, access control to files and metadata, etc.). Therefore, most of the libraries from the CESNET Invenio version is utilized for the National Repository. Both the CERN and CESNET versions are available under the MIT license.
Pilot Version and Further Updates
The current Pilot version runs on InvenioRDM12 software version. The National Repository’s development follows the Invenio CERN and CESNET software sources. Currently, the release of the next version of the repository on InvenioRDM14 is in the works.
